Another squishy arrives

I love squishy packages.
I am waiting for only 1 more package with 1 block to complete my Nov. lucky win.
Somehow I'm already a few projects ahead in my brain and buying fabric for my son's quilt.
You can never have too much fabric right?
All the xmas gifts are finished (2 tablerunners) and everything else is wrapped.

The last packet of sampler blocks arrived this morning from Belinda. Thanks, lovely blocks and thanks for the stash pieces. I do so love all the different fabrics, many that I don't see here in the stores. I hope you all have a great Christmas, bless you all.

samplers and trees

I have received sampler blocks from everyone but Belinda. I am hoping the last packet will arrive this week. Who knows with the Christmas mail. They are all wonderful and I can hardly wait to lay them all out.
I goofed with the tree width - that's what I get for quickly reading the instructions and rushing to get the blocks made up. I will try to get some done at the proper size before the end of the month.

All Blocks Received

I received two great blocks from Balinda in the mail yesterday!  I have now received all 28 blocks from the November lotto winnings.  Thank you all so very much!!  I can't wait to put them all together into a quilt.......but that will have to wait until after Christmas.

Samplers received

A squishy from Caroline arrived yesterday and two arrived today from Mary Jane and from Andi. Thank you all, lovely blocks. I am anxious to get time to make up some trees and roses. Maybe this week, I hope.

Sophie's Sampler Blocks Sent

I planned to be at the PO when the counter opened at 8:00 AM ... only to find out it opens at 9:00 AM :-(

I used the self-service station--which I realize in hindsight I did not have to wait until 8:00 to use.  Since it's my first experience weighing and mailing blocks with USPS self-service, I really want to know if there are any mailing problems with my squishies.

The last packet of liberated stars has arrived from Kate A, forwarded by Belinda. Thank you. Lovely cheerful stars. I hope you are feeling better Kate. It's not nice to be under the weather anytime, but especially at this time of the year.
The first sampler block also arrived from Rhonda. It's also a star inside the string corners - a beautiful block.
I just love seeing all the different fabric patterns that other quilters choose, it is so fun getting little bits of fabric that I don't have in my stash or even have access to here. That is the joy of belonging to a block lotto, or a block swap. Thank you for the extra pieces of fabric in the packet from Kate/ Belinda - a nice surprise.

The mailman brought me several envelopes yesterday, all full of beautiful and wonderful blocks.  I received blocks from Pat F., Maree, Pat H., Deana, Belinda, and June.  Belinda and June both included strips to add to my stash!!

My November blocks are ready to mail, but I haven't made it to the post office yet. As if life wasn't carzy enough my 17 year old DS wrecked DH's car last night. Not sure how everyone will get where they need to be. DH will have to ride his motorcycle in the cold...Anyway, I should get to mail them tomorrow.
