A Wider-than-Usual Sneak Peek has been Mailed

If you have made blocks for the block lotto in the last 9 months (since we switched to using the blog exclusively), then you should have sneak peek email from me.

I wanted to send everyone who either made the transition or found us in Blogland a thank you and a sneak peek at the more liberated style in store for 2010.

Until the last couple days, I was torn about whether we should go with a first block that would challenge us or go for a gentle introduction to a liberated technique . . . then I dreamed about this block and decided it was meant to be our January Block. I'm making mine this afternoon and happy with the result. I hope you all will have fun with it, too.

The sun is shining (and the last of the snow melting) in Dallas. I've planned an afternoon walk, some quilting–got to make some of the polka dots and push us to two winners–and . . . grazing on leftovers! No cooking for me, today. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend, too.

  1. Sophie I love the block! I can't wait to make some. How many Dot blocks do we need for two winners? I have 1 done and 2 in progress.
