Irene, in the FABRICS section of the guidelines, it says: They may be solids, tone-on-tone prints or multicolor prints that are predominately ONE color.Your backgrounds look bright and colorful, but I'm not seeing them as predominately ONE color.
What an amazing block pattern - it must be hard to get the points to match with all those large curves! Hats off!
Maybe you could use the purple and blue from the arcs as your big square, and the yellow and green could be the light arcs?
