I finally found some time to work on a few blocks for March.  I have 3 pairs so far.  I plan to make another 2 sets, but I'll have to see how my time goes the rest of this month.

My Design Wall So Far

I received February blocks from Laura and Michelle.  Here's how my design wall (which is clearly more of a curtain) looks this weekend with the blocks made by Andra, Kristin, Laura, Michelle and me.

I can't wait to see the rest of them "alive and in person"

Sewing kit arrived..

When I returned from my trip from DC yesterday, I was delighted to find squishies from Rho, Ginny, June and Sophie! Beloved, cutie, pookie, babycakes, & pumpkin!

My first 3 sets

Here are the first three sets of blocks for this month. They don't lean very much, but I think they came out pretty well. Going thru my stash I was super surprised by the number of green fabrics I had. I am so not a green gal, but apparently, I've used alot of it! I was also surprised at my lack of purple and blue...mmm, time to go shopping?

Hope to get two more sets done by month-end!

Kristin's March Blocks

Here are my blocks for the month.  Please let me know if I tilted the wrong way on any of them. 

Looking at the picture I'm noticing that the block on the bttom left only has 2 strips from the center on a couple of sides.  *sigh* I'll redo that block.  So unless I tilted the wrong way in any other blocks I have 4 pairs.

The First Word Blocks have Arrived!

Blocks from Andra and Kristin are here and they are great!  Thank you so much. I've told myself that I need to wait until they all arrive before I start thinking about a setting, but these already look great up on the wall.

My last package of blocks arrived from Chris yesterday! Here are all my tic-tac-toe blocks -- I think they'll become two kids' quilts and so far I've divided into the girly set arranged sort of randomly
and the boyish set arranged from skinny to fat.I love 'em all! Thanks!
