But I finally made the walk through the cold to the post office and back yesterday and mailed my blocks to Trudi. I selfishly kept waiting for things to warm up, but I realized it wasn't going to happen anytime soon.
I'm such a wimp. There's no snow here, but it feels like it could happen. On my way back I watched kids crawling through the habitrail-like display in the Christmas windows at Neiman Marcus. Those kids weren't wimps at all and didn't mind waiting in the cold for their chance to play.
I know. As kids we didn't know better than to be afraid of the cold.
