Way back in September 2008, I won the cracker blocks. I sewed them together, bordered it and donated it to the Heartstrings project. Mary did the quilting, binding and donating. I think it turned out great.
I saw the quilt on Mary's blog earlier and wondered if those could be lotto blocks (or inspired by the lotto blocks we made). I almost copy/pasted/linked it here as a beautiful example and a great setting idea–I like the way the colored cornerstones and white sashing create a chained effect.
It's lovely and I also agree that it is going to be joyfully received by some lucky kid.
I agree. Some child is just going to be so pleased to get such a bright and fun quilt. Kathie L. from Allentown
