I posted blocks to Belinda and and Cory this morning. I am determined to use the many random stamps I have lying around, so for any Harry Potter fans, Cory's in particular might remind you of the invitation from his friend Ron, which arrived covered in stamps.

Squeaking In

Thank you for the warm welcome I received on my first post.  I appreciate it!

I'm cutting this kinda close, but here are my last 4 star blocks.  I just don't have enough time to squeeze out one more.  I've been sewing like a fiend this afternoon and evening to finish these!  This brings my total to 8 blocks.  I would love to win some of these blocks. . . but I know there's lot of others out there with the same thought.

Belinda Made Me Do It

Hi all,
I'm Sharon and I'm a newbie - just joined.  And it's all Belinda's fault!  I saw the stars everyone was doing and I fell in love with them!  I love wonky stars!  So, I "talked" to Belinda about the Block Lotto and she talked me into signing up!  She really didn't have to twist my arm too hard. . . LOL.

I know I'm getting into this lotto late, but I have high hopes.  Here are my first 4 stars.  I've made these before, so I think they're pretty easy.  I'm trying to only use the scrap bin to make these.  I hope to get more made before the deadline, but I wanted to get these posted right away.  I actually had two of them made before I emailed Sophie to join!

I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone here.  I see lots of talent here!  Everyone has made some wonderful wonky stars.

Here are two more for me....If we have enough for 4 winners, that's more chances for me.  Yay!  This block was fun once I got used to it.  I did discover that while I have some neutrals, my stash does not include a lot of light value colors.  I'll have to remedy that.
