Reeds

Hello group!  You once again inspired me to make up a quick quilt!  I just finished my "Reeds" quilt.  I put in a thin black flange between my blocks and inner border and added a few ladybug friends crawling on some of the blades! Thanks for the fun ideas for blocks!  Melissa

  2. The little lady bugs are so sweet! Good work! You really put that together quick! You even have it quilted! I am a "topper" Once I piece the quilt I usually have about 3 months before I quilt it!

  4. I am trying to do some little quilts before my college semester starts .. These little projects are motivating. I feel bad I don't have time to make blocks for the lotto but it excites me to see what challenges this group comes up with. I would have never tried curved piecing but this block just kept sticking in my mind and said "try me". Thanks!

  5. What a great quilt. It looks fabulous on that green wall. I think the borders are perfect and the lady bugs add just a little whimsy.

  6. Love your little quilt - and your quilt hanger. The borders are great and really show off the blocks. Cute idea to add the ladybugs. Thanks for sharing.
