The wonky house block is the result of really mucking up another block I was trying. I was so frustrated with it that I slashed and resewed a couple of times only to find two house shapes appear so thought I would use them.
Those two little houses remind me of a tiny little house I rented in an old neighborhood in downtown Lansing, Michigan. Right next door was it's exact twin. Both houses had been built from kits that you could buy from Sears & Roebuck--all the materials that you needed to build your house would come via rail. That little house, though it was definitely showing signs of its age, was adorable.
I've updated your number of blocks on the list. With Mary Jane's blocks and yours, our new total is 57 sampler blocks--more than enough for TWO WINNERS (so far.)
