Four sets of trees

This is my first post on Block Lotto. I've been quilting on and off for years but finished my first one this year (started lots of them, though!). I am looking for some new ideas now and thought that Block Lotto might be a fun way to do that. I liked making these trees, even if some of them don't look as tree-like as I might like. I guess that's the point of these liberated blocks and I enjoyed experimenting with the tree shapes.

A bit about me: I am an American and live in Auckland, New Zealand (have done for 15 yrs.) One husband, one daughter, one cat, one dog.

  2. Welcome to the Block Lotto. I love that so many Kiwis and others are discovering the group and want to play.

I LOVE all your tree shapes. I have a question about one of the fabrics and have sent you mail ... in the meantime, I've added 3 of the pairs to the list (while we confirm the 4th one).

  3. Thanks for the quickie response to my email. As someone might have guessed I wanted to make sure that the fabric combined with RED was gray on black--it's silver on black which reads as gray in normal light, so it definitely fits within our guidelines this month ;-)
