Words and Roses - an update

Last fall, my intention was to FINISH this project before St. Valentine's Day.  I humbly confess that I only just got around to pulling it all out of the box before the holiday.  With all your lovely gifts of rose blocks, you can begin to see my intended design for the quilt.

The idea

This isn't all the word blocks I won in the Block Lotto a year ago–so don't panic if you don't see yours, but it's all I had space for on my temporary design wall (AKA a flannel-backed tablecloth).

  5. Thanks for all the positive feedback. It was great to see everyone's words (and roses!) put together and I am looking forward to, at least getting the top put together soon.

  6. It's really wonderful. Wondering what it would look like if you had very thin sashing between the word rows.
