I thought I wouldn't like the gold and gray combination , but the blocks everyone has made are looking great! I hope I find some time this month, but things are getting crazy busy around here.
When I branch out with a new color idea, I don't know if I (or anyone else) will like it. It's a different kind of scrappy for sure, but it is growing on me more and more. In fact today I looked at a new apartment--it has gray carpet in the bedroom and I started to imagine a bed quilt made from blocks like these. I think it would be AMAZING.
