9 D4Ps
My sewing machine went off to the spa today, so I borrowed my daughter's VERY BASIC Brother from Walmart, that's 10 - 15 years old. Actually it does a very nice straight stitch, so I was able to finish my blocks.
It does not have many stitches, not to mention a needle threader, needle down, thread cutter, etc., etc., but I can stay in business doing basic stitching, while mine's away. Yeah!
Quilty hugs,
Pat from FL & MI

They all look great together. I've update your number of blocks on the list. With Mary's additional block and yours, the new total-so-far this month is 278 D4P.
ReplyDeleteFYI, I also fixed the label on your post. It's really unfortunate that once someone enters something screwed up, it will be picked up and auto-completed for others that follow them ... unless they are very careful.
Oops! Thought I had done it right this time! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteWe all get used to the new 'gadgets' with our machines don't we? Just remember that your mother was probably sewing with a machine that did little more than straight stitch! LOL
