The last few days have delivered my remaining blocks from Sophie, Andrew and Laurina. Thank you so much to everyone for the beautiful blocks! I played with them on the floor this morning, and I'm leaning toward 7 rows of 7 (I made an extra), with sashing between the rows. Then I won't need to worry about matching up points on the hearts! Now to find the perfect sashing and border fabric in my stash ... It was really a delight to have my mailbox filled with quilt blocks for the last two weeks, and I look forward to returning the favor.
Great layout -- I really like that you've alternated the direction of the hearts -- makes for an interesting quilt!
ReplyDeleteThat is so exciting. I am also a winner but I'm traveling right now so am excited about returning home and finding all the blocks in my mailbox. I like your idea of alternating the position of the blocks.
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat idea for a setting. Unique, and fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update and the peek at your work in progress. I think this arrangement has lots of possibilities.
ReplyDeleteThey are going to make a stunning quilt.
ReplyDeleteI like the way you alternated the blocks. It's going to be a great quilt.
