A Little After the Fact - A Spool Block Setting Idea

I went searching for something else and found this photo that I had saved for a 2-block Lotto idea. Wish I'd remembered it in November, when we were making the spool blocks.


Although I don't think this quilt was constructed that way, one could make it by putting the spool blocks on point and alternating with blocks that are quarter-square-triangles framed with strips of background fabric. At least that's how I envisioned it when I was hanging onto ideas for block pairs for the lotto.
